Uf chlinem Fuess: Rückblick auf ein bewegendes Jahr

Uf chlinem Fuess: Looking back on an eventful year

In spring 2024, the Association Equilibre , together with the Swiss Children's Hiking Trails Association, implemented the mobility project "Moving a lot on a small foot". This project is aimed specifically at children and promotes environmentally conscious travel.

Children solve playful tasks and collect points in an attractively designed booklet - for example, if they move more in everyday life, go on a hike with the family, or use public transport. Additional tasks - such as drawing, painting, designing and writing - promote awareness of the topic of ecological travel.

Once you have reached the required number of points, you send your collection booklet to the Equilibre Association. You will then receive the desired KoKoTé Globi children's bag made from ecological materials by post .

The project "clever on the move in the real laboratory" launched by the Albert Koechlin Foundation (AKS) gave impetus for this project. We are very grateful that the AKS supported this project financially in 2024.

The project in numbers: a total of 1416 hikes in Central Switzerland!

The project ended on January 31, 2025 and left a lasting impression. 292 children and their families undertook a total of 1,416 hikes in Central Switzerland and diligently collected points. Around a third of the hikes were made using public transport. The feedback was overwhelming: numerous families told us that the project gave them joy and encouraged them to exercise more.

A special highlight were the creative submissions from the children that we received throughout the year: from beautiful drawings and collages to poems and notes - we were thrilled by every submission. As a reward, we sent 620 KoKoTé Globi products throughout Switzerland , including practical backpacks, bags and accessories. Each package received a pair of Globi socks sponsored by  Rohner socks – included as a surprise.

A big thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of the project and to the hard-working point collectors for their great submissions.

Special thanks also go to the 24 children's hiking trails in Central Switzerland who supported this project and made hiking a special experience for families.

On kinderwanderwege.ch we show a small selection of the lovingly designed pages that we received. Unfortunately, we cannot present all of the works of art. However, we were delighted with every single submission.
