Die Geschichte von Achinedu «Ashu» Enebeli

The Story of Achinedu «Ashu» Enebeli

I was born in rural Nigeria where I grew up in modest circumstances with my mother. I barely knew my father as he died when I was a child. I realised that I had no long-term future in Nigeria and decided to leave the country.

With a heavy heart, I followed my mother's advice and embarked on a difficult journey in 2011 that took me via Italy to Switzerland in 2013. I found a new home in Uri and started working at KoKoTé in 2019. Here I was able to further develop my passion for sewing and design.

I love working at KoKoTé. For me, the team is more than just colleagues - it's like a family. The support and solidarity at KoKoTé have changed my outlook on life for the better. I appreciate the opportunity to learn something new every day and to develop myself further.

My big dream is to complete my current vocational training as a textile practitioner EBA and build a stable future for myself. KoKoTé gives me the feeling and the support to get closer to this goal and to be able to lead a good life in Switzerland.
